What is an AI-Smart Market, and how does it work?

An AI-Smart Market is a modern, cashless alternative to a traditional vending machine. Customers authorize an accepted payment method, open the market, take the products they want, and close the door. Product-recognition technology identifies the items removed and completes the purchase, eliminating many traditional vending-machine jams.

Customers receive a text confirmation and itemized digital receipt. Products returned before the door closes are not charged.

What payments are accepted?

Markets accept major credit and debit cards—including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover—plus Apple Pay and Google Pay. Cash, gift cards, Apple Cash, and most prepaid cards are not accepted.

A temporary pre-authorization verifies the payment method before the door unlocks. It is later adjusted to the actual purchase total; release timing depends on the customer’s card issuer.

How much does the service cost?

There is no equipment purchase, lease, installation, inventory, stocking, service, or maintenance fee for qualified properties. The property generally provides suitable indoor space, electrical power, network connectivity access when needed, and reasonable entry for installation and restocking.

HUCAAD owns the equipment, technology, and inventory; establishes prices; and collects and remits applicable sales taxes. The property has no equipment, inventory, depreciation, or maintenance responsibility.

What locations qualify, and where do you provide service?

Strong locations generally have:

• Approximately 100 or more people passing through each business day

• A natural dwell area, such as a lobby, breakroom, mailroom, waiting area, portal, housing office, resident lounge, or fitness center

• Limited nearby grab-and-go options

• Safe indoor placement with appropriate space, power, network connectivity, visibility, and service access

HUCAAD serves qualified military and government facilities, apartments, offices, gyms, medical offices, hotels, student housing, warehouses, mixed-use properties, and other high-traffic spaces.

Our vending machines and vending services are available in Colorado Springs and throughout the Pikes Peak region, including qualified locations in Fountain, Monument, Falcon, Manitou Springs, Security-Widefield, and nearby communities. Availability depends on site qualifications and service-route access.

What space, power, and connectivity are required?

A typical market requires approximately nine square feet per cabinet, plus ventilation and room for the door to open safely. Level flooring, nearby electrical access, and a suitable circuit are required; a dedicated 15-amp circuit is normally recommended.

Markets include cellular connectivity and may also use approved Wi-Fi or a wired LAN connection. Exact requirements are confirmed during a complimentary site review. HUCAAD coordinates special access and connectivity requirements with military, government, and other controlled facilities.

What products are available, and can they be customized?

Products may include drinks, water, energy drinks, sports drinks, protein products, popular and healthier snacks, sandwiches, prepared or frozen meals, toiletries, health products, electronics, and everyday essentials.

Selections are tailored to each property and adjusted using sales data, seasonal demand, and customer feedback. Fresh food is offered where demand, refrigeration, and restocking access support safe rotation. Product requests are welcomed but depend on availability, shelf life, space, demand, and pricing.

Who handles stocking, freshness, and service issues?

HUCAAD handles purchasing, stocking, product rotation, cleaning, remote monitoring, maintenance, and service coordination. Restocking frequency is based on sales and inventory data.

Expiration dates and refrigerated conditions are monitored, and damaged or expired products are removed. Safety controls may restrict access following a qualifying power or temperature problem until the products are reviewed.

HUCAAD evaluates equipment and connectivity issues remotely before scheduling on-site service. Customers with transaction concerns should use the support option connected to their digital receipt or contact HUCAAD with the location, approximate purchase time, and item involved. Complete card numbers should never be sent by email or text.

Is there an agreement, commission, or sales requirement?

HUCAAD uses a written agreement covering equipment ownership, placement, access, utilities, service, insurance, responsibilities, term, termination, and relocation or removal.

Commission is not automatic but may be considered for exceptionally high-volume locations. Any approved revenue-sharing arrangement is documented in the agreement.

If sales are lower than expected, HUCAAD may adjust products, pricing, promotion, visibility, or placement. If the location remains unsustainable, relocation or removal is handled according to the agreement.

Is HUCAAD registered, licensed, and insured?

Yes. HUCAAD amenities LLC is a Colorado-registered business that maintains the registrations applicable to its operations.

HUCAAD carries a State Farm businessowners policy with:

• $1,000,000 business liability per occurrence

• $2,000,000 general aggregate

• $2,000,000 products/completed operations aggregate

• $300,000 damage-to-rented-premises coverage

• $5,000 medical-expense coverage per person

• $28,000 vending-machine coverage, subject to a $500 deductible

• $25,000 computer-property coverage, subject to a $500 deductible

Coverage remains subject to policy terms, exclusions, deductibles, and renewal. Certificates of Insurance are available, and special endorsement requests are reviewed with HUCAAD’s insurer.
